The Overcoming the Odds Awards Ceremony is Student Advocacy’s signature event where we celebrate the accomplishments of youth in our community who have made education a priority despite the challenges they have experienced. An important step in preparing for the event is selecting the students we honor. As a member of the OTO Selection Committee, you will be asked to read the student nominations prior to the meeting and attend one virtual meeting. All identifying information about the students is redacted and remains confidential.
