Student Advocacy’s goal is to protect students’ educational rights, ensure they have improved educational opportunities, and foster effective communication between families and schools.

By effecting change in services and supports, school becomes a positive place for students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

Our hybrid approach, fueled by a collaborative, strategic, problem-solving perspective, integrates:
1) Knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations and case law, and school & related systems
2) In-depth study of evaluations and school records
3) Understanding of disabilities, and their effect on student performance

Data illustrates that just three months after our advocacy work is completed, 87% of families report academic progress, improved attendance and attitude, and fewer disciplinary problems
